The Job
Wastege was contacted by a client requiring specialist waste clearance at an NHS hospital in Lincolnshire. The client was unsure how best to manage the waste on site and needed professional support to ensure it was removed safely and compliantly.
To establish the most effective approach, our Commercial Manager visited the site to assess the waste and determine the work required. With the hospital environment in mind, the priority was to clear the affected area efficiently, ensure all waste was handled responsibly and leave the site clean and ready for use.
Our Solution
Following the initial site assessment, Wastege developed a clear plan of action and coordinated the necessary resources to carry out the clearance. Two members of our specialist team attended the hospital over three consecutive days, using our vans, skilled labour and industrial high-pressure jet-washing equipment to complete the work.
Our team assessed, removed and arranged the appropriate disposal of all waste in accordance with relevant waste management requirements. Once the area had been cleared, the team used industrial high-pressure jet washing to thoroughly clean the affected surfaces and complete the site clean-up.
The project was successfully completed over three days, with all waste removed and disposed of safely and compliantly. The area was left clean and tidy, delivering an effective solution for the client and allowing the hospital to move forward with confidence.
