UK Wide Aerosol collection
The Job
Wastege Waste Management Limited was approached to carry out an urgent, UK-wide collection of unusable hazardous aerosols from more than 500 store depots across the UK and Northern Ireland.
With a tight deadline in place, the customer needed a reliable waste management partner capable of coordinating a large-scale collection programme at short notice. More than 5,000 collections were required, making careful planning, efficient logistics and safe handling essential to completing the project within the required timeframe.
Our Solution
Wastege quickly mobilised the resources, vehicles and personnel needed to deliver the nationwide collection programme. Our office team worked closely with our drivers to organise collection notes, plan efficient routes and coordinate schedules across the country.
A dedicated team of drivers used our fleet of vans to visit the depots and collect the hazardous aerosols safely and efficiently. Strong communication between our office staff, drivers and management ensured that collections remained on track and any logistical challenges were managed effectively.
Through careful planning, teamwork and efficient coordination, Wastege successfully completed more than 5,000 collections within just three weeks. Every collection was completed before the customer’s deadline, demonstrating our ability to deliver large-scale hazardous waste collections at short notice without compromising on safety or service quality.
